Past weeks have been very busy for the members of The meeco Equestrian Team sponsored by The meeco Group. From the 8th of May to the 10th, the team participated in a prestigious CSN5* competition in Toledo. Then, from May 15th to 17th, riders of The meeco Equestrian Team jumped at an international CSI2* competition in Madrid.
Students enjoy school year in building equipped with solar energy at Universal College
Since the start of the 2012-2013 school year at the Universal College in Mauritius, the 1450 students had a little surprise awaiting them. Indeed the College has recently decided to set itself up as a sustainable school model by installing a solar energy system on its rooftops. This decision echoes what is one of the College’s aims, that is not only to educate students but also to prepare them to become conscious citizens.
The meeco Group sponsored Electric Motorcycle team MUENCH Racing is double champion
In the third season of the electric motorcycle championships, the German MUENCH Racing Team competed again against teams from the USA, Europe and Asia. Matthias Himmelmann, the champion has kept his electric motorcycles crown. Last Friday, he masterfully won the FIM e-Power International Championship race series and the European TTXGP Championship for the second year in a row.
The German and meeco sponsored MUENCH Racing Team, won all four of this year’s e-powered racing championship titles! The meeco Group sponsors horse jumping and e-power racing, as well as other important events with regard to clean energy. In June 2010 The meeco Group used its SunCarrier hot-air balloon during the famous Las Hogueras de San Juan (St John´s Bonfires) festival in Alicante (Spain). Just some weeks later, the hot-air balloon was in action at a scout camp of the German Association of Protestant Girl Guides and Boy Scouts (VCP) from July 29 to August 7 in near Wolfsburg (Germany) with the Guides and Scouts on a panoramic view of the camp.
