meeco supplies 15.68 kWp of remote solar water-pumping in Pitiantuta, Chaco

ZUG/ASUNCIÓN.  The Swiss meeco Group, via its local subsidiary meeco América Latina S.A., has recently provided the design and hardware for a large sun2flow water pumping facility in the Northern Chaco in Pitiantuta, Department of Boquerón, Paraguay. This sun2flow project consists of 8 surface water pumping systems powered solely by solar photovoltaic modules. The project was executed in association with meeco’s long-term partner and agro equipment specialist, Taller Juancito. Each project has an installed solar power capacity of 1960 Wp to ensure a reliable, efficient and sustainable cattle water supply system.

Angola homeowner chooses solar and energy storage over diesel

The meeco Group to install off-grid solar PV and lithium storage system near Luanda

ZUG/LUANDA. In June 2013, a private homeowner living 100 km south of Luanda – Angola, will be among the first ones in the country to live fully off the grid without the use of diesel.  Thanks to a solution, developed and installed by The meeco Group and combining solar photovoltaic (PV) energy generation with the latest lithium storage system, the family house will become completely self-sufficient. The Swiss renewable energy group has been in charge of the entire planning, procurement and on-site installation of this project including the logistics.
