A professor in Freiburg, Germany is not only teaching his students on campus but also off-campus. He is teaching his students a way to slow global warming by promoting electricity produced from solar energy.
meeco has always supported people who wish to save the environment in their capacity. The aim is to provide renewable energy that is affordable, environmentally friendly, and accessible to everyone.
Keeping the professor’s criteria in mind, meeco’s expert team proposed to install an 8,40 kWp sun2roof solution on the residential roof of the professor’s property with a usable battery storage capacity of 11 kWh. This means that out of the approx. 20 kWh of energy is produced per day around 18 kWh of the excess energy can be stored, and 11 kWh of that energy can be used during the night time or non-sunny day before the battery can be charged again. The total system produces 7.29 MWh/year with the help of 30 high-quality solar modules. The project was completed in January 2020.
“I am happy with meeco’s expertise, efficiency, and dedication towards its clients and the environment. It makes this entire process easy and hassle-free.”, states the professor.
