The Italian subsidiary of The meeco Group, meeco Services Italia S.r.l., was founded in February 2009. The team in Milano is responsible for the realisation and management of PV projects in Italy, and the planning and implementation of projects worldwide, especially in the field of energy storage.

To date, meeco Services Italia SRL has realised 130 MWp of renewable energy projects in Italy, and has contributed and supported the implementation of over 415 MWp worldwide via technical and advisory services. Alongside the management and supervision of Italian-based PV installations, the main mission of our team in Milano is to support hybrid renewable energy projects with its technical know-how and innovations in the field of energy storage.
More than 110 national photovoltaic projects were implemented by the Italian subsidiary since 2009, giving way to the enhancement of its competencies in project financing, due diligence and licensing, and furthermore continuously strengthen the competitive market position in the renewable energy sector of The meeco Group.
With the introduction of the innovative hybrid energy management system sun2safe, meeco Services Italia S.r.l. contributes to the further technical improvement of meeco’s renewable energy projects worldwide. This solar energy management solution complements our renewable energy generation products by offering the possibility of an independence from the grid, with clean energy available 24 hours a day. With the option to store the produced power and monitor the energy consumption, this turnkey solution ensures an intelligent and sustainable way of generating electricity. sun2safe units are already operated in Germany, Italy, Pakistan, Antigua & Barbuda, Mauritius, Zimbabwe, and India, where it was respectively adapted to the local conditions and needs.
Taking part in the development and implementation of international projects makes the Italian subsidiary one of the technical and operational points of gravitation of The meeco Group. The Italian teams’ responsibilities cover the management and further development of energy storage and portable renewable energy solutions in Italian and worldwide projects.
