Two first positions in 1.20 and 1.30 metres classes in Murcia

The meeco Equestrian Team experienced two weekends without much sleep but full of exciting, midnight show jumping challenges in Murcia. The riders, sponsored by the clean energy provider The meeco Group, reached two first positions and several other good results.

The summer cup “Liga de Verano Saltos”, two CSN 3* show jumping competitions in Club Aros, took part from the 24th to the 26th of July and from the 31st of July to the 1st of August. Already on the very first day of the event, The meeco Equestrian Team reached the first place in the 1.20 metres class with the twelve years old KWPN-gelding OurSun Inkognito 22. Also the three other team members achieved rankings within the top ten. In the 1.30 metres class on the following day the meeco equestrian riders jumped to the 3rd, 7th, 8th and 9th positions.

Also the second weekend brought a great success since The meeco Equestrian Team achieved a first classification. OurSun Inkognito 22 proved its skills again by jumping two clear rounds in the 1.30 metres class on Friday in the third-best time and on Saturday even in the best time. The gelding and its meeco rider won the jump-off with a lead of more than one second.

quote We particularly appreciate these outstanding achievements since the jumping conditions were very challenging due to the heat and due to the late hour, as the competition went on till late in the night, especially OurSun Inkognito 22 kept its physical and psychological balance.”

Mr. Wilhelm Bettinger, coach of the team.

The KWPN-gelding is part of The meeco Equestrian Team since 1 ½ years. “At the beginning of our training, OurSun Inkognito 22 experienced some difficulties”, explains Wilhelm Bettinger. “Now the horse proves its great capacity and imposes itself against many professional competitors by winning a difficult and challenging 1,30 metres class with a jump-off. Our aim will be to maintain and further exploit the potential of this great horse, who is an offspring of the famous stallion Indoctro.”
