The meeco Group does not only have offices in Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece and the USA, but also in South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. The Pakistan Office (meeco Asia Pacific (Pvt) Ltd.) is located in Lahore, Pakistans second largest city after Karachi, and is managed by its CEO, Mr. Syed Saad Zafar.

Recently, meecos prospects in the Pakistan market have picked up due to the fact that more and more people are becoming interested in alternative, i.e. renewable, energy solutions as power shortages are becoming more frequent and the Government is only taking very slow steps to stop or improve this situation. In order to present its portfolio of products and services, meeco is planning to participate in the 8th INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION FOR THE ENERGY INDUSTRY (POGEE) trade show for power solutions, taking place in Karachi on 19 – 22 May 2010, KARACHI EXPO CENTRE.

A number of important business prospects are currently being developed with a range of government agencies and departments as well as private sector companies, in particular in the telecommunications and construction sector.

In order to meet the new business developments, meecos Pakistan Office is planning to hire additional staff in the coming months.
